My sales person was great!! But the aftermath was horrible. I bought a vehicle from them and not even two weeks later I had to get it fixed. Took it back to them and all they did was confirm I bought the vehicle with no warranty. They decided to check the car and told me it was an $1800 repair. They said best they could do is offer a discount on the repair. Bigger problem is what they were trying to charge for the repair even with the discount was still 7 times what it would cost to have a local mechanic ... Read More

Horrible customer service and basically refused to work with me i did not buy my gmc there and they made efforts to let me that and they fought with me about honoring my warranty. Bottom line they politely told me to f*xx off
I went in for a simple recall The front desk, people for the service center are very misleading in information and very disrespectful when it comes to their customer service skills, if you want updates about your vehicle or wanna call in to talk to somebody, the manager will tell you that they’re having AI issues with there phone’s if you want an update in between the work on your vehicle and what there gonna do to, to fix your issue don’t go here because they will not inform you on anything to get a simple answer ... 1-Almost 2 hrs wait for an oil change 2-Nobody called me in the waiting area or just call my phone that it is done whien 4 staff are just playing with their phone 3-Left grease inside my car 4-Price over the moon plus added stuff I didn’t asked for. Oil change & Filter + stuff they added that wasn’t asked for (just plain maintenance) = $566.80
They price gauge me for an oil change & engine filter $259.22 since I got a coupon of $20 & GMC rewards of $94.04, I still have to pay $170.13 JUST FOR OIL CHANGE & Filter. They added unnecessary stuff that I didn’t asked for & waited for almost 2hrs when 4 staff on their phones didn’t even bother call me when the car is done. Beyond disappointed!
Unfortunately I cannot give them a negative five star review. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership and after two weeks the front left speaker stopped working. As of now the right speaker is distorted as well. I reached out to the company only to find out that the speaker is on back order indefinitely.
So after waiting a month and a half with no update I reached out to GM and opened a case concerning this matter. They assigned it to an individual, then it was assigned to someone else, then it was assigned to someone else lol. The ... Read More

While the sales team was great, the service department was not. The certified pre-owned vehicles are supposed to have a 172 point inspection but with the issues I had to return for, that can't be true. Check engine light activated twice for different items and on one service visit one of my wheel locks came up missing. They offered to sell me another set which I declined. About two weeks later the tire that was missing the wheel lock developed a bubble on the sidewall and had to be replaced. I can't recommend such service.
Filed complaint directly with GMAC. Crooked sales gimmick's can't be trusted. Avoid leasing with this dealership, you will find better deals elsewhere.
Went to Todd Wenzel today to get help with my wheels. Although they were closed for service due to a power outage, they took a look at my issue and helped fix the problem right away! Can't thank them enough for going out of their way to help. Awesome team.
We bought our used vehicle 12 months ago and are very dissapointed that it wasnt inspected better! We had to pay alot of money on repairs.
We had an excellent experience! Greg was an awesome salesperson! We are super happy with our car and experience.
Where do I start? I have now purchased 3 vehicles from Todd Wenzel. I’m going to gloss over the first two, so I can focus on the third. The First was a used 2017 Sierra 1500 I bought in 2018 from Greg Dawkins. Couldn’t have been a better process. Then, in 2020 we bought a used Yukon XL from Greg. This should have been a learning experience to have prevented my issue with the third purchase (which I am getting to, and shows why Todd Wenzel is the only dealer I will ever b up from again). The sort story n the Yukon ... Read More

Very disorganized and dishonest. More concerned with playing sales games than listening to what I am asking for or remembering anything they told me. Poor training.
Only had my new car a week in and new vehicle been in the shop for almost 3 weeks. Oil leak engine light on. No one has contacted me to tell me what’s going on with my new car. Emailed general manager and called no reply or call back. This place is trash don’t trust Greg the sales guy, this place sales bold cars. Contacting my lawyer
Took my car car in to get a new key due to the old one breaking. This car was bought brand new back in 2006 by my dad from Todd Wenzel. The service manager told me that the key doesn't match what GM has for the car. So they have to replace the entire ignition and its costing me $750. Yesterday I had to call 4 times to find out what was going on with my car and was on hold from 10-30 minutes.
I came in looking for a red pickup truck lease to replace my current one. I’ve bought many vehicles throughout my life but this has been by far the easiest and quickest experience at a dealership. Even after they lowered my current payment on a more loaded truck, they even took the cap off and put it on my new one! Will definitely be back in 2 years. Thanks for all the hard work fellas!
If your service advisor is off no one else has a clue took in 2019 tues. for oil change and check engine light was on was there 6 hrs at which time got a loner had to order part be ready thru. Thru. No truck and I can get no answer told try back tomorrow not pleased at all
I came in to turn my lease car in and wanted to go over new options. Jared greeted me at the front door with a smile and professionalism. Aaron the general sales manger came out and greeted me as well because I had an appointment. I test drove a new buick envision and absolutely loved it. It was a little higher payment then what I was currently paying on my gmc terrain but the envision is MUCH nicer...so therefor a little higher payment was ok. Still an amazing price. I wish 0 stars was an option! Our local Buick dealer had limited inventory, so we looked up Wenzel and made the drive out because their inventory looked promising. There, we met up with Jared--
My husband and I drove an Envision and also were surprised to really like the Buick Regal Tour X-- inventory is low on Envision, but purchasing and keeping a long time, we couldn't afford to settle. Per their suggestion we took the Tour X home for the weekend; as much as we loved it, the price was amazing but the seats weren't right for ... Read More

I was only going to shop around and test drive a few trucks. The manager hooked me up with Reggie at the very start and it began a wonderful experience. Reggie went above and beyond my expectations of a dealer. He was very knowledgeable and his since of humor really helped me to relax and be myself also. I highly recommend Todd Wenzel of Westland and I recommend even more Reggie Soares as your salesman. -D. Donald
My experience with Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland is too long to put here. Long story short: The Sales Consultant ("Robbie") and Used Car Sales Manager (Nayeem) lied about everything. Sent a certified letter to the dealership General Manager (Mr.Swinea), have not gotten a response. Will NOT recommend anyone to go there.
Initially I believed the dealer was helping me get out of my old car I was upside down in. But now that I have had several months into the lease I feel like I was misled. The salesman Jim Diehl was polite enough however this dealer only had one person who can "write" the leases so it took over 3 hours just to get to the paperwork. at that time it was almost 8 or 9 pm and after business hours. The leasing officer was rushing through the paperwork. As always I ask if what the additional fees are and how ... Read More

Leased two vehicles from Todd Wenzel GMC in Westland. Heres my issues
1. At 300 miles in the dead of winter my heater motor went. I called service first thing Monday morning and ask for them to save a rental for me. It would take me 45 minutes to thaw my windshield to drive the truck into service. The girl in service was an absolute xxxxx.
2. The sidesteps that the my came with my Truck on the windows sticker were never installed. I noticed that 2 weeks after i took delivery of the truck. They did install them after I brought it to their ... Read More

Had a great time buying a SUV from Randy at Todd Wenzel GMC, great professionalism, informative and knowledgeable of the vehicle(s). I had gone to another GMC dealership 30 minutes earlier and walked away because NO sales person acknowledged my presence inside or outside when looking at vehicles. Best thing I’ve did was walk away and go to Todd Wenzel GMC. Dan in the finance office was also very informative and explain things in detail. Thanks Randy and Dan. .
We have been purchasing vehicles from Randy Cecil (Red Hohman and now Todd Wentzel) for over 40 years. There have years where we did purchase from other dealers, but have questioned that decision later on. We have found that having Randy know our wants and needs and his experience has been extremely beneficial in our buying experience. Randy and the entire delarship team has always been there for us over the years!
Drew took care of us at the Davidson location, had issues with finance at first but all worked out. Would use again in the future.
After multiple emails, phone calls and dealership appearances I was no close to buying the truck i wanted than the day I saw it online. After being told a customer(manager) had it for the weekend i returned Monday, no truck. I returned Tuesday, no truck. After three more calls Tuesday evening I was told the truck is being shipped to Grand Rapid, for a potential buyer in the morning. Ridicules!
My year long experience with the Body Shop and Service Department at Todd Wenzel has been an absolute nightmare, to say the least. I went to Todd Wenzel after I was rear ended in July of 2017 based on a friends recommendation. Their body shop took 3 months to "fix" my car and when I initially got the car back it was apparent that they did more damage than was originally there. Their Body Shop manager at the time, Rick, was absolutely useless and refused to fix any of the damage that his repair team had caused. My back seat ... Read More

This was a great dealership under Red Holman. Terrible now. In April I took my new vehicle in to have a side molding fixed. I am currently in a lease from Todd Wenzel in Westland and had an ok enough experience to send my wife there to purchase a vehicle. My experience at Todd Wenzel Buick GMC in Westland was appalling. Tim Sweeney, Sales mgr. lacks professionalism, communication skills and upholds poor business practice. I would NOT recommend this dealership.
I left 2 messages with the service department "manager" and two service employees to have service done to my vehicle...a week later still no response so i took my vehicle elsewhere...thats $800 todd wenzel gmc lost. Also they arent open most Saturdays anymore....customer service does not seem to be a priority since they changed management....appearance of the dealership seems to be all that is important there anymore
Can't say enough about Larry White and his team at Todd Wenzel! We have purchased multiple vehicles from Mr. White and the experience has been awesome. It's disappointing that people only come online and give ratings when people slip up...mistakes will happen, but I have never experienced this at Todd Wenzel GMC/ Buick!
My daughter saw a used Saturn on Todd Wenzel's website, she wants a Saturn, she called and was told they had the car. I left within 5 minutes of the call and drove the 35 minutes to the Todd Wenzel dealership. Out came a nice gentleman, I told him wanted to see the Saturn. I bought my 2014 Sierra new from Red Holman, now Todd Wenzel. From day (night) one, I've had trouble seeing at night with the headlights on this vehicle. While searching for a fix from an aftermarket auto supply, I found several complaints which led me to a TSB (technical service bulletin) from GM. Apparently GM has acknowledged that they have received enough complaints that a fix was needed. I called Todd Wenzel and talked to Craig in the service department. I took my vehicle in for service on a randomly functioning blower in my 2012 GMC Sierra HD. Some days it wouldn't work at all, some days it would but only on HI. Lack of customer, very slow to pricing (2+ hours), sales representatives did not know how to look up inventory, trade-in values mis-represented and rate all vehicles as poor even if in good condition. Would not recommend.
I scheduled an appointment for an oil change. I was ignored, treated poorly and overall had a very negative experience. I guess this dealership doesn't respect it's customers, particularly women. I do not intent to ever return.
The change is horrible some of the staff is still the same the new staff is rude and very unprofessional I won't be back its like going to buy Nike shoes at Walmart just not a good idea it took 30 minutes just to talk to a salesmen who was rude and took a cell phone call in the middle of talking with me so I left
So I called used cars and asked about they're we finance anyone, and the sales person was very short! He took my info and said let me see what I can do. Well after not hearing from him for days. I called and again he was short and said I'm still working on it. As to this day, no call back so I gave up.
I bought a used truck from judy, a 2500 hd She sold me a warranty to use it for my job, landscaping. It did not cover snow plowing.she assured me it does, told me she called them, and were all set. Famous last words of Judy. I pd $800 for nothing, now she won't call me back. She is nasty after she is done with you. I'll never go back, I buy a lot of trucks, she lost me.
Don't bring your car to this dealership for service, they are way over estimate and go way over on there estimated repair time, I am stuck paying hundreds more because this shop and dealer has no service vehicle available to loan out because of their delays. They also said that is there policy to not go above and beyond for their customers. I think this is completely ridiculous and will next do business with this dealer again in my life.
I went there first time for oil change and recall for my 2008 Buick Enclave, and said that I am business customer and it is my first time with the assumption they will care a bit more. But, did not get a good feeling they care to their customer. (1) I left my car from morning and they called mw in the evening that the car is not done and learned next day that they even did not started, (2) they carched for a diagnsis without asking me, except please quickly sign etc. Complained to the service manager and artificially I understand he ... Due to an accident earlier this month I needed to replace my car on short notice. With only a few days to remaining on year-end deals a sense of urgency was important. Chevy/Ford/Dodge and GMC were in the consideration pool. Given that I purchase and hold for years rather than lease, so I was somewhat inflexible with options that had to be included in the package.
