2019 GMC YUKON GRAPHITE EDITION VS GRAPHITE PERFORMANCE EDITION
GMC is a top player in the SUV market, and you can see that clearly with the GMC Yukon. The vehicle is impressive enough, and now for 2019 the automaker will be adding two new editions to the Yukon lineup: Graphite Edition and Graphite Performance Edition. What are the differences between these two versions of the 2019 Yukon? Let’s take a closer look with a comparison of the 2019 GMC Yukon Graphite Edition vs Graphite Performance Edition.
What are the differences between the Graphite and Graphite Performance models?
“The Yukon continues to lead the full-size SUV segment with premium features and an instantly recognizable and well-respected identity. The all-new Graphite Edition builds on the commanding road presence and inherent capabilities of the Yukon and affords customers the opportunity to project a unique, yet distinctly GMC style.” – Stu Pierce, senior marketing manager for GMC Trucks and Full-Size SUVs.
Both the Yukon Graphite Edition and Graphite Performance Edition have a darkened exterior look to them, blending seamlessly with the night. The Graphite Edition is equipped with 22-inch bright machined wheels with Carbon Flash Metallic pockets, black assist steps with gloss black accents, black rails for the roof, a premium black chrome grille mesh insert, and gloss black trim around the beltline.
This already looks exquisite, but the Graphite Performance package has those features while adding the following: Magnetic Ride Control, a 6.2-liter V-8 engine capable of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, a trailer brake controller, a high-capacity air cleaner, Bose Active Noise Cancellation, a multi-color head-up display, a navigation system, and more.
The Graphite and Graphite Performance Editions will be offered on SLT trims of Yukon and Yukon XL models in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. These vehicles will be available late in the summer of 2018.
